Sioux Falls is South Dakota’s largest city, with many unique attractions you won’t want to miss. Fall’s Park, the city’s namesake, is located just north of downtown. Where approximately 7,400 gallons of water drop 100 feet per second. The downtown boasts many bars and restaurants, many only found in Sioux Falls. A few you should be sure to visit are The Pickle Barrel, Falls Overlook Café, and Josiah’s Coffee Shop.

Watertown was settled in 1836 near an old French fur trade post. It was originally named Johnson’s Rapids after the founder, but the name was changed to Watertown after many settlers arrived from Watertown, New York. Today, Watertown is the home of the Terry Redlin Art Center, where you can view many original works of Americana Art by Terry Redlin, one of America’s most popular wildlife artists.

Rapid City is just minutes from the Black Hills National Forest and Mount Rushmore National Memorial. Rapid City was founded in 1876 by discouraged prospectors who had come to the Black Hills in search of gold. Unique to downtown Rapid City is the City of Presidents, which is a series of life-sized statues of past US presidents throughout the sidewalks and streets. Downtown also boasts many local shops, restaurants, and bars.
